Trainer : How are you this morning?
Me: I am sleepy. I really didn’t want to come here, but I managed because I like you guys.
I was super honest. Doing exercise is not my favorite thing. But I love the owner and the trainer at the small bio-hacking gym I joined.
I noticed I said the same thing almost every time. So I asked, am I the biggest complainer? He said you are one of them, but you keep coming, some disappear without saying anything.
That made me think about who I want to be.
(the following week)
Trainer : Good morning.
Me : I was so looking forward to coming this morning.
They were surprised to hear that, and we had a blast. And the energy we created together was different. That inspired me!
– I didn’t lie to please them.
– I didn’t say the positive because I should have said it.
– I truly chose to be who I was at the moment. That was fun.
Here is a warning.
Please don’t try /force to be positive because you think you “should” be.
It’s called pleasing, performing, camouflaging, spiritually bypassing, etc. If the energy of “should” is there, pretending positive only harm. It will get us nowhere.
My mentor used to say that it’s like sprinkling glitter over poo. It still stinks!
You might want to do some inner work, such as deep inquiries, coaching, etc., to clean up what’s underneath.
Don’t skip the process because it’ll create a powerful transformation.
